Mindfulness Talk (426)
Mindfulness is a type of meditation which has been shown to maintain mental health and to be useful in treating depression, anxiety and chronic pain. The techniques are easy to learn and to teach and can quickly produce benefits for health professionals, and can be taught to patients even in busy work places, increasing job satisfaction for the clinician. Dr Chris Cresswell is a practicing Emergency Medicine Physician. During this session he will teach some of these techniques and describe how to implement them in a busy work place and to quickly share them with patients.
