Rosemary is a successful Physiotherapist, manager of a business, and mother of 3 boys. On 3rd April 2013, a traumatic car accident – a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time - jeopardised everything that she knows – professionally and personally. Her story and experience of ‘health professional turned patient’ will be explored including the good, the bad and the evidence based!

At what point do we take off the health professional hat and allow ourselves to be the patient?

Rosemary is an APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and APA Occupational Health Physiotherapist. She has been a partner at Axis Rehabilitation at work for 10 years. Prior to that she has had extensive experience as a Physiotherapist in private practice and the public hospital system. She is a guest lecturer at UQ and is on APA committees at both state and national levels.
