Dr Brian Wells FRCPsych is a London-based physician and Consultant Psychiatrist. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK). He trained at the University of Cambridge and began his career in general and family practice. Following a tour with refugees of Kampuchea in Thailand, he specialized in psychiatry at the Maudsley Hospital and Institute of Psychiatry in London in order to pursue a career in Addiction Medicine and trans-cultural family systems. Dr. Wells developed the largest substance-misuse service in the United Kingdom and became Medical Director of an inner-London psychiatric service before moving into private and charitable work. In his international practice, he consults with a variety of individuals and organizations from an assortment of industries, i.e. entertainment, finance, government, etc. He has also traveled, lectured and published widely.
