Roger Sexton has been a procedural rural GP for over 30 years and is currently working in both urban and rural practice as a rural locum. He is a clinical skills tutor at Adelaide University and has been actively involved in medical education of doctors over many years. He was at the forefront of developing South Australia’s Dr DOC health program for rural doctors in rural South Australia in 1999 and is the inaugural Medical Director of the new state-wide health program for doctors and medical students, Doctors’ Health SA. He is a past Presiding Member of the Medical Board of South Australia and the South Australian Board of the Medical Board of Australia. He holds Directorships of the National Prescribing Service and the national medical indemnity provider, MIGA and is currently completing his MBA at Adelaide University.
