Dr Jane Barker this year celebrated forty years since qualifying MB CHb from the Welsh national School of Medicine. She feels privileged to continue to find Medicine a rewarding and endlessly interesting career. She has been a practicing General Practitioner in Australia for the past 27 years. Through this she developed an interest in mental health and from there an interest in the wellbeing of doctors. She has been working as a senior lecturer in General Practice for the past 4 ½ years and has delivered student training in wellness and self care with the aim of putting love back into medicine.
