Karen is currently a third medical student at Monash University and Community & Wellbeing Officer Elect for the Australian Medical Students' Association (AMSA). Karen has been an active member in the Monash University Medical Undergraduates' Society, involved in the wellbeing of medical students. She is the current Chair of Red Party Victoria, a non-for-profit HIV/AIDS and Sexual Health fundraising and awareness organisation. Further, Karen has been an executive member for Hineni Youth & Welfare, a Jewish youth association. Prior to medicine, Karen spent a year abroad volunteering and studying informal education and leadership.
