Tanya has been supporting the design of clinical education between doctors and across medical disciplines since 2002. Her particular interest is in education and communication at the interface between primary and specialist care. Tanya supports health care professionals seeking to enhance the impact of education programs and the quality of professional relationships across disciplines. She believes that engagement to learning and practice improvement should be positive, collaborative and mutually beneficial. She designs autonomy-supportive processes through which the content of educational and practical improvements can be delivered. Tanya is also an assistant surgeon in head and neck oncology at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Sydney.
