SallyAnne Jones, RN, BN, MN, Grad Cert Nursing (Cancer) is the Acting Assistant Nursing Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. She is also the President of the Queensland Nurses Union and Federal Vice President of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation. She has been nursing for 18 years, and has worked in a number of clinical settings. During her nursing career, Sally has developed and used her personal interest in Toyota Lean Thinking principles to improve and change the clinical services she works in. She enjoys inspiring others to use the Toyota principles to improve their own work performance, their organisation and their team!
